last year i heard that honda was gonna start up there own team and build there own chassi's and engines. but like 2-3 weeks ago i heard that they were just going to focus on the Honda engines already in f-1. do any of you have some info about this?

 

It's likely that Honda may only support one team after the current contracts with Jordan and BAR run out. I have heard nothing to the effect that Honda has any plans to manufacture anything besides engines for F1 in the forseeable future. They still have a long way to go in the horsepower department to keep up with the likes of Williams/BMW, West-McLaren/Mercedes and Ferrari. Honda/F1 wants to finish on the podium but the current teams have struggled to stay near the middle of the pack.
