I recently took up golf and have been looking for a set of clubs. Honda have been running a special where you get a free set of Honda VTEC Golf Clubs with every Accord.



I told my dealer if someone didn't want their clubs I'd give them $600 for them. He rang today and said I could pick up my set on Friday. Apparently retail is $3000, but you can buy them for $1499.

 

Must be nice. Good buy

I just bought A brand new accord and all I got was a handshake. Lucky bastard

 

Look around. I took one of those vacation share tours. They gave me set of irons. Too bad they were too short. Even for me at 5'6". Sure would like to have a set of those.

 

So.. I suppose they whup the Boxster clubs???

I wonder who was the manufacture of the Vtec Clubs? Especially with the $1499 price tag Is that Aus$?

Yep, that's $AUD1499. I picked them up for $AUD600 from an Accord purchaser who didn't want them.

They're made by Bridgestone (yeah, yeah, be careful when they're cold, I'm way ahead of ya ), and have Harmoflex Premium Graphite High-Tenacity Carbon shafts (I have little to no idea what that does other than lessen my ability to blame my lousy score on the clubs).

Oh, and they've got Honda and VTEC all over them.

I know its been 23 years but annnnyyyy chance you have this golf set laying around and willing to sell? or have any idea where to get one??
