Honda extended warranty question???
How long after you bought your brand new Honda from a Honda dealer, that you can still buy the Honda extended warranty from them?
e.g. Can I still buy the Honda extended warranty, 1 month after I've bought my brand new s2k from a Honda dealer? or more?
I can also shop around for a good deal on extended warranty from a different Honda different, right? What's the cheapest so far for a s2k?
thanks guy!

I think you have a certain period of time to buy the warranty. Personally, go to your local credit union and buy one through them. I paid about 950 for a 7/100K warranty - AND I don't have to go to just any Honda Dealership to have them work on the car. The car can be warrantied by any ASE certified tech. =)
Oh, and I almost forgot, I get a loaner with that too up to a certain amount of dollars!
That's my take.

It's funny that you ask because there's a group buy going on over in the "Group Buys and For Sale Forum" for the Hondacare warranty. Here's what one of the offers has to say about the timeline:
"Up to 24 months or 24,000 miles from original registration date, whichever comes first. No surcharge.
Up to 36 months or 36,000 miles from original registration date, whichever comes first, there is a $60 dollar surcharge. "
The original registration date is the day the car was originally purchased.

I think you'd be hard pressed to beat the prices that the group buy found.
