I had read that Hoobastank was an "apprentice" type to Incubus, sort of like Limp Bizkit was to korn and Marilyn Manson was to Nine Inch Nails. That's cool that they're related though.

 

Haha. To clear up a little confusion, I don't think Doug is Brandons little brother. Hoobastank and Incubus started playing at around the same time. Hoobastank is from Agoura, while Incubus is one town over in Calabasas. I remember going to a concert in Doug's parents backyard along time ago, back when they were singning "Naked Jock Man." Anyway's, they are a really good band and have been working on it for a long time. It's about time they got the recognition they deserve. For some reason it makes me happy to see their hard work and dedication pay off.

 

Brandon from Incubus' brother is the singer for Audiovent

 

and in a James Burke connections sorta way.. Audiovents guitarist is brothers with Incubus guitarist, and the other guitarist is brothers of Jon Davis of Korn
