I know a hooters waitress. She is 19, no kids, not divorced. She makes $200-300/night in tips and helps pay for college. Not a bad gig.

we went to some autoshow in portland with a big group of friends... the plan was to hit up the autoshow all day and then have dinner at a NICE restaurant. i was thinking along the lines of a local brewery that also serves fresh seafood, really good steak, etc. somehow we let the guys in our group convince us to go to hooters. none of the girls had ever eaten there before so we figured we'd give it a shot.

i definitely wasn't impressed. only a couple of the girls were hot. the food was REALLY BAD. ( i ended up having a $9 grilled cheese... and they charged me $1.50 for the ranch i got to dip my fries in ) and it was just... trashy. i go to strip clubs with my buddies and i'm really not the type of girl who gets jealous or bitchy around half-naked girls... but for some reason this was just uncomfortable. they'd turn the music up really loud and then the girls would stand on the chairs and do this stupid dance... then this girl came over and poured our beer while she hula-hooped and old dirty men oggled at her.

haha, maybe i'm just being a hater but i was definitely not impressed. too much hype over nothing.
