I worked at Ruidoso Downs Racetrack, as a cook and a bartender. I have met quite a few jockies and the majority of them make a decent living but the problem is that they travel alot I know that some of the jockies I know will travel to other parts of New Mexico, Texas, Arizona. I would recomend that you attend a track and get to know some jockies as well as some trainers, (most always stick around to drink) get an understanding of the lifestyle and work from there, just remeber that like any job your gonna start at the bottom even if its cleaning horse$hit. That sucks too as my brother in law was a trainer and I used to help him when I was little.

At 5'2" do you pull your seat all the way up to drive?
Just wondering how Honda based their measurements when designing the seats.

My wife and I have horses. One of ours is a retired racehorse. I've been on his back twice. One time I just sat there for two or three minutes, the other time I stayed on him for about 25 feet. Good luck to you if you try this field. i hope you enjoy pain.
