Default House purchase

What is the best place to look for houses that are for sale?

I'm looking in the <$150,000 range near Lewisville, TX.

Just curious to see if yall know any good websites to check for cheap houses for sale.

Thanks!

Any site with a MLS should work, try homecity.com. Good luck.

I have been using www.ziprealty.com

Its basically as good as any other site but the cool thing is they give you 20% of their commission back. Not a huge chunk of money but it helps a bit with closing costs.

Ebby Halliday's website http://www.ebby.com/ has a nice mapping function that we used when picking houses to tour. (We had our own agent from elsewhere.)

any of those sites should work, Once you get serious get a buyers agent to show you the houses.

I wish houses were that cheap out east!

What about websites dealing specifically with foreclosures? Has anyone moved into a foreclosed home?
