Had a Chateau D'yquem last year. That was definitely the most expensive bottle of wine I've had. Regularly drink Cakebread Cellars at dinner now. Basically try something new every meal, though.

Having the distinct advantage of spending other people's money for every single meal I eat means that I get to drink many, many fine wines (and probably not appreciate them)

Last month, I had a 2002 Chateau Latour Pauillac. An $250 bottle if you can find one for that cheap.

1995 Chateau Latour - ~$350

My brother had a glass of port from 1785. That is not a typo. It wasn't free but I think he got it virtually free at ~$30. The owner of a restaurant opened it at dinner the night before and the staff poured it for everyone that wanted it a day later. He said the finish was ultra-strong for about five straight minutes and there was no spoilage of any kind

Last year 90+ year old Robert Mondavi, Sr. shared a bottle of wine with me and my wife at a private party. We were later told that it would have sold for about $1000. Sadly, I have no clue what it was.
