umm...that proves nothing...put a turbo on a large motor...run the same boost??? the small motor is still at a disadvantage! all an engine is...is an air pump...air in ...air out.... and you spark a small amount of fuel during part of that process. The larger the cylinder of air, the more fuel(to a point), at a higher pressure..the more power. If the pressure is the same, but the amount of fuel and air is large (larger motor) .....umm..you are getting more power..period.
HP to weight is the key for going fast...also to a point...if the car is soo small (lotus elise) the top speed will be low do to the fact the wind will push too hard against its small HP motor, there by counteracting the HP to Weight at high speed.

To say that a turbo will make up for displacement is not a good arguement. Two tiny turbos on a Z06 will make 900 HP (lingenfelters new one...coming out soon), that is because it is a 5.7 liter engine.....that will not work on an engine like in the S2000 at the same boost level....ever. you can raise the boost to get 900 (possibly), but the same can be done to a 5.7 liter engine......so the smaller motor is always at a disadvantage...now this doesn't mean a car with a smaller motor will be slower (HP to weight), but the larger engine has more potential.
