True story: I'm in Chapel Hill, NC 3 weeks after having purchased the car and I've driven it down for a get-together to show my friends. I get on my friend's computer and do a search for S2000 and find the site. Turns out that it's the weekend of the first S2KDays and that there are 100 other S2000's at that very moment in Ashville at the other end of the state. I was like, "ARRRRRRRRGGGGG! Why couldn't I have done this search from home 3 weeks ago???!!!"

I was looking at a magazine one day, looking for S2K articles when I came across an advertisement for Comptech USA. I browsed the site and click on their link and that is how I found this site

 

i knew about the site by going through yahoo, but i didn't like the whole forum idea. i also didn't know there would be this many people, and that it would be this fun.

one day, i was out on the streets, and i went to where i would go every saturday night, and when i parked, i saw a red S2000, then i got out of my car to walk over there, and then i saw three more! i was so excited, and went over and talked to them. i found of that they were "lips2000," "wesmaster," and "joe_s2k," and "dave." they asked me to come out with them, so i did. we were all driving out to some other place to meet up other car "clubs," and we got a ticket. i was only 16 at the time, so i knew one ticket was enough, and that i would have to go home. i told them that, and mark (lips2000) told me his name on the board, and that night, i registered. ever since that day, i've gone on about everyday, 'cause this is the best site in the whole world.
