Default How do I change my forum status to owner?

I need to list a few things to sell in the marketplace here, and in order to do that, I need to change my status to "owner." It says how to do it in the guidelines for the market forum, but in my profile area, there is no place to put my VIN #. Can anyone help me?

I'm looking at the info under your avatar and it says "owner" already.

He meant right under his name. But he didn't know one would have to pay for membership. I'll pay for mine when I have some spare change.

I think the guidelines are outdated. It "used" to be that you had to be an "owner" to sell something here. I guess you have to be a "member" now to sell. (I'm not positive on this. Check with the moderator in the "For Sale" forum.)

It won't ever say "owner" there. You're already an owner. If you buy a membership, it'll change to "member" or "gold member". Or in those cases where people have been bad, it'll say "banned".

That used to be the case mkell but I believe that it was changed because the vin system was of no value, anyone could obtain a VIN and pose as an owner so it was changed.
