Duffer-

If it doesn't have any holes in it, I'll take it, fill it with high level nuclear waste, probably spent plutonium, and dump it on DaRKCrow's front lawn.

As long as we're going for sympathy, how about my 133mhz P1 96MB RAM 1GB HD 1MB Video card 12X CDROM, 14.4K Modem.

Since I missed Lucid's clue, do I get the donation ?

Good suggestions, all, but if you think getting rid of an old computer is hard, how do you get rid on an old trash can?

If you leave the trash can out on the edge of the driveway, will the garbage man take the can with him, or will he just empty it?

I was wondering if anyone read that. Maybe I should have said trash can/bin so as to include the non_US folks.

BTW - I've tried leaving an empty trash can/bin by the curb every place I've lived. Not once was it treated as trash.

It turns out that you have to cut them up into pieces and bag them to have them taken away (once, I cut one in half and left the pieces by the curb. Still there on my return)

Don't worry about the dumpster, just throw it out the window.

That's a good thing right? (I despised my neighbor's poop-frenzied cat while growing up.)

As the old saying goes ... kill 2 birds with one personal computer.
