Hang out with the sales, service, and parts people I know there and catch up on what mods each has done lately. One time I had to go to a different dealership because I had problems while traveling. I passed the time by taking a sales girl to a motel on her lunch hour. I found that made waiting for the car a lot more bearable

 

I grab a few brochures, lock myself in one of the cars, step on the clutch a few time while engaging gears! Cheap thrills...

 

I take the courtesy car and go home. Actually, my wife takes the cars to the dealership when I'm at work.

 

Flirt with all the cute/hot receptionists and cashiers.

 

sit in every car.... bug my dealer with my 8million "what if i trade in...." questions...
oh..and if i'm at the honda dealer, i ask about the civic type-r
if i'm at the acura dealer, i ask about the dc5r
