without exaggerations, what do you guys think you would be satisfied with? 3.9? 4.5? 4.9? 5.8? or is everyone dying for the stupid henessey viper at 2.4?

Sorry to be a pedant but what you really mean is how quick is too quick.

In answer to your question - have you ever ridden a large capacity bike?

Quicker the better regardless of times. No one is ever satisfied. Many things are that way. Always something better it's justa matter of self control

Since I'm too chicken (or sane?) to ever ride a big sport bike, I'll never be happy until I'm driving a Formula 1 car that goes 0-100mph-0 in less than 8 seconds, pulls 4 G's in a turn, and can be driven upside-down!

the best feelings of speed I've experienced were either going down a powder couloir on a snowboard or going 20knots on a windsurf. If going fast only involves a slight pressure of your right foot on a pedal.....

No such thing as too fast! Ok, maybe less than 2 seconds is too fast. But most of the time the question should be "Is it fast enough?".

Q: How fast is fast enough?
A: Just slightly faster than both the people in front and behind of you
