How to get Red Ink off white shoe?
It's one of those gel pen red inks (permanent?), I guess it leaked out from someones pen on Thursday (last day of school). I didn't notice it until about 5 o clock on thursday when I was going out again to get some dinner. , but I just started right now to get the ink off. I got the hard excess dried red ink off with my nail and some water, but how do I get off the last layer of red ink off from the shoe? I can't wash it off with soap and water. My sister suggested wite out but I hope there's a better way
Thanks

Yeah... buy a new pair. ((Make sure you do that before Labor day, shouldn't wear white shoes after that. Of course I never did understand the meaning to that!))
I'm J/K!
Honestly, try clorox, orrrr i don't know? You're pretty much screwed! Good luck!!

If they are leather tyr OPPS!!! the all purpose remover (but if they are vinyl or cloth, it will probably burn the material).
Or try Windex (again if leather) I clear my shoes with Windex and they always come out nice.

Soap won't work. You need something that is a solvent that will dissove the ink and hopefully not the leather.
I think ninthreeeleven meant "Oops" and not "Opps." Stuff like that will work...there is another kind called "goof off". It's available @ home depot and works well on ink.
If that doesn't work, try 91% or 99% isopropanol (rubbing alcohol or sterile alcohol) but only try that as a last resort.

This is my first thought. I usually use this to clean all inks. Works well but can smere if not careful.
