how long do you keep your shoes?
I have had the same pair of shoes that i wear to work (timberline boots)........... i have had these shoes for at least 5 years and they still look pretty good...
i wear them about 80% of the time to work.

I would say that I keep mine until they wear down enough to where I think I should buy new ones. But I think it is impossible to buy shoes none ever work for me, so it's the old shoes back on again.

Right now I'm at work - casual Friday - wearing sneakers that have holes worn in the sides, mainly from rubbing on stirrups. I'll replace them when I get the chance, but I rarely think about it when it's convenient to go to the store.
The same tends to hold true for my dress shoes, except for the "stirrup" part, of course.

I change my running shoes once about every 4-5 months, but my father runs so much he is in a new pair every month. You can imagine the collection he is developing. I loved it when I was growing up and fit his size, I could wear a different pair every single day of the month.
One time, he actually put about 25 pairs out on the front lawn and told the neighborhood kids they could have which ever ones they wanted. It truly was a funny site to see.

Puma is very involved in motorsport with F1, WRC, and several other sponsorships. They even have a deal with Sparco to make race equipment.
I just picked this pair up yesterday. These work really well as a casual walking shoe + driving shoe.
Lifestyle statement for the sophisticated motorsport enthusiast. This product performs in each situation and selected materials let the owner feel the uniqueness of the product. This top of the line Motor Driving shoe is made of super soft kangaroo leather.
They're VERY comfortable although they don't have much padding (more pedal feel).
You can pick up a pair of fireproof ones if you really want em.

I keep mine until they wear out, as they get older they get relegated to work shoes, although most of the time I wear slide in clogs for working in (I do kitchen and bath remodeling, and tile and marble installation). Just got a deal on some Merrell slide in clogs at $30 a pair, so I bought 2 pair. I wear these year round here in Michigan and a pair last about a year to 15 months.
depends... some I keep for a while.. .some I blow through in a couple of months.
When I was youger I used to play everything in the same shoes, and it used to be:
1 pair of sneakers
1 pair dress shoes

taking into account now... I have just about a different pair for everything I play...
1 pair tennis (replace every 6mo-1yr depending on use)
1 pair vball (have had these for 2 yrs)
1 pair golf (have had these for like 3 years, they just don't wear out... have replaced the soft-spikes though)
1 pair bowling (had these for 3 years too.. they don't wear out)
ice skates (just bought these last summer, should last about 3 years at least)
roller blades (just bought these last summer too.. wheels should last 2 years at least?)
casual black shoes (bought these like 5 years ago)
casual brown shoes (7 yrs ago)
casual blue shoes(7 yrs ago)
shiney dressy tux shoes(3 yrs ago.. worn maybe 4 times)
sandals( need replacement after almost 1 year)
2 pair walking shoes (need replacement after about 2 years)
1 pair boots (just bought... prolly last at least 3 years)
