I'm not sure how you could have bottles for that long (seems like they only last hours at my house ), but you should be fine with them. I've drank older liquors than that, I wouldn't worry about it.

Taste it. You wont get sick. If it tastes funny, throw it away. Alcohol (liquor) does change it's taste to light exposure, temp fluctuations, etc.

(I bartended for almost 7 years, and work in the bar/restaurant industry)

BTW, if you were to buy just such a bottle in a store right now, you'd likely pay around $100. Dom Perignon didn't even start selling it until last year. Champagne is aged by the wineries for a very long time.

Just try everything. If you like it, drink it. If you don't, give it to somebody who does.

Unopened wine goes bad quickly because it reacts with oxygen. A bottle with a bad seal from the cork will go bad as well. Wines still change in the bottle though, which could be a good or bad thing depending on the wine.
