oh, also, those girls are very, very clean (if you know what i mean...) compared to other "real" prostitutes...
they are usually college students, young business women working for extra money... etc.

also, a lot of house wives know that their husbands go to places like this, and try to "understand/ forgiving" since, well, it's for her husbands' business.

a very shady, sad part of korean "drinking" culture.

I guess you just contradicted yourself on the post before this. They are prostitutes. We have quite a bit of hostess bars in the Dallas area. All of them rather shady if you ask me. The people who usually hang around these businesses are shady as well.

There are also "Korean" pool halls which attract the business of punkish Korean's. Some of the people who hang around these places consist of low-education, fresh immigrants who are typically young. What my mother tells me anyways. She difinitely prefers my brother and I to stay away from these businesses. As quite of bit of them get robbed or have the tendency for violence (i.e. such as murders).

Anyways, it's a rather shame businesses like these put a damper on the Korean culture.

Some are prostitutes and some aren't. Old guys usually pay to have sex with them. However, room-saloon girls, IMO are sex crazed. They like it. Many of my friends slept with these girls. I could of too, but I'm not such a fan of those types of things, it's not a challenge. In the end they are all whores. Made one cry onetime.

She was lying to me the whole night and thought she was all that. Saying how she went to Europe and saw all these things, how great it was, and tried to be an intellectual on me. Had to tell her off.

Does anyone know of the main "room salons" in the downtown Los Angeles area?

My friend and I want to catch his Dad in the act at one of these places!
