It looks like you probably know where Merriam is then. That's where I lived. It's sorta funny because I lived in Johnson County then and I'm living in another Johnson County again (this time in Indiana).

I'm from Tulsa in Northeastern Oklahoma, close to Missouri, and I've always pronounced it mih-ZUR-ee.

This really depends on if you grew up in a house, or a trailer. Myself, I didn't live in a trailer, so it's Missour-EE...lol.
