I think I'm going to go with the following.

Bodily injury 50k/100k
Property damage 100k
Medical payments 0
Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist 30k/60k

It depends on what your ASSETS are..... If you own a home, have considerable savings, etc., then you better carry some coverage to protect those assets. In this SUE HAPPY country, better to be safe than sorry..... Personally I have 100K/300K/100K and I'm thinking of upping my limits. And to answer your question about your limits..... In sue happy California, I'm carrying $250,000/500,000/250,000. The couple of dollar difference is more than enough for me to go with the higher limit. Unless you take out a McClaren F1, your ok.
