I am selling a G3 Blue and White Tower with 350 MHz and 128 MB of RAM with a 19" Sony Trinitron CRT monitor and a new Epson Stylus Photo Printer.

What should I ask for? It has a DVD player, built-in Zip drive and a new optical mouse and keyboard.

 

Try doing a search on ebay and see what similar models are going for.

 

Its an older unit.
The new mini mac is faster.

Not bad. You can usually get a good deal selling your old Mac at PowerMax.com in the future. eBay is hard to make money on anymore.

 

best thing is to donate to school and write off the price u paid for to tax deduction..



at my college, this one company dumps junk to our school and gets full amount on the write off for taxes

If you can get $440 for it, do it. I bought a blue and white G3 Mac from craigslist 3 months ago for $320. It has more memory than yours (500 something RAM) but no zip drive and no epson printer. It had a 17 inch Viewsonic monitor. A week later Apple announced the mini Mac If I had known about the mini I would have waited for that.

 

I'm selling a G4 450 "Sawtooth" with a Zip & CD-RW, 768MB RAM for around $600 to PowerMax now so I can get a Mac Mini. Not a bad price for a 7-yr old computer, as it will pretty much subsidize a new maxed-out Mini!
