How not to get out of jury duty
bahahahaha i lold @ the letter he wrote...the one time i went to jury duty, there were plenty of people there who seemed to LOVE going based on the answers they gave to questions they were asked...let them do it if they love it so much
I was summoned once in the city that I used to live in. I called and explained that I'd moved. They needed to see a copy of my drivers' license; problem was it still listed the old address. The DMV wouldn't simply update it then since my city was listed as a disaster area immediately after Hurricane Gustav.
I did end up not having to go after some further proof that I'd really moved.

I used to just toss the summons' in the trash when they came. Then one day a process server knocked on my door and handed me the summons - spent 4 weeks on a murder trial.
