bahahahaha i lold @ the letter he wrote...the one time i went to jury duty, there were plenty of people there who seemed to LOVE going based on the answers they gave to questions they were asked...let them do it if they love it so much

I just tell them im self employed, which is true, and that i have several
project's that im doing out of state. Works everytime.

I've been summoned numerous times. Usually about 30% of those summoned actually appear and of those, 10% come with their excuses not to serve.

I was summoned once in the city that I used to live in. I called and explained that I'd moved. They needed to see a copy of my drivers' license; problem was it still listed the old address. The DMV wouldn't simply update it then since my city was listed as a disaster area immediately after Hurricane Gustav.

I did end up not having to go after some further proof that I'd really moved.
