Damn, that's dedication . Once every 1 or 2 months for me. Mines silver so it doesn't show dirt as much. I try and care for my other cars on a bi-weekly basis at least . The thing I hate the most is the cheap leather in the seats. What type of moron decided to put leather in a car that should spend most of it's time with the top down. You burn your a$$ in the summer , plus the sun dries the leather out. And even though it never get's very cold here in Southern California sometimes you freeze when you jump in wearing shorts. Plus you slide around with leather in the corners. My old Miatas had a great cloth material that you could steam clean every six months and they looked new. I'm going for the black out look on my rims by letting the brake dust powder coat them.

First year: Every week or more, Final inspection every drive

Second year: Every week, skip the Final Inspection

Third year: When people start drawing "wash me" on the trunk lid

Only kidding, but I do find as time has passed my obsession with keeping it perfectly clean has dulled, but not the driving pleasure!

call me paranoid, but i actually prefer a little dirt on the car. this way when it's parked it doesn't draw too much attention and does not appear as if the owner is proud and obsessed with it, in hope that it will make it less enticing for vandalists to "harm" it.
