If you do a search you'll find everyones' age many times. This question seems to come up every few months. By the way, at 54 I'm one of the old farts on this forum who is getting so old that he posts the same thread four times.

Somebody needs a nap methinks. When you're a kid in your twenties, whining children don't seem to bother you as much. It's just that us old farts don't have the time to waste. Once you're over the hill, you pick up speed. You too will become impatient with the young and uninformed when you pick up a few years. I also think some of us codgers resent youngsters having "our" car as you can't really appreciate it w/o the accumulated life experience. Not to start a war, but I've been thinking of suggesting a separate forum for the midlifers that don't want to wade through the doe-eyed comments. Any others think this idea will fly?

Not to get into a pissing contest, but look up the meaning of the word appreciate please to understand what I am saying. Just different perspectives. Young is good, but to some of us it's just "Been there. Done that". I'll backpedal a little here and be somewhat redundant and rephrase: Fully appreciate. That should be easier to digest. Sorry for the distress, just the facts of life.

I'm 43, I look 33, and I act 23.

Let's call it 33 with a standard deviation of 8.16.
