Numbers, numbers, numbers.
eightymagillion, 650, 500, 75, 35.
My current horsepower is just a SWAG (scientific wild assed guess) on my part. It's somewhere above 500 but I have no idea until I stick it on a dyno.
A fun guestimate is hp at 7 lbs boost was 362. Baseline was 222. 362-222=140. each psi = 20 rwhp. 222 + 19 x 20 = 602rwhp. This number is no where close to reality. Maybe next year.
I know from multiple previous measurements each pound of boost is good for about 17 rwhp on this engine. 17x19.6+222=555rwhp. Again very generous but closer to reality than 602rwhp.
I think the boost gauge is probably a little optimistic. Let's figure 18 lbs boost x 17 hp/lb = 306 + 222=528rwhp. This number seems about right with the way it is running.
So until I run it on a dyno again just figure it is probably more than 500 rwhp.
AP1 Project, Age? Who gives a hoot. You are only as old as you feel so I'm somewhere in my 20s.
A little "elderly" advice to all you youngins on S2KI: Work hard and save now for later.
p.s. Richard, I won't be 35 for another decade.

sorry sideways this wasnt meant to offend you. i just seen a picture on here of an "older guy" and was wondering if the older crowd were modding s2000's
Actually there are quite a few of us out of school "older guys" making big horsepower. I'm the one that posts about it.
