57 this Christmas -- I feel 21! What the hell am I doing on this board?

Milo-

I have a dog named Milo. He was named after Jom Carey's dog in The Mask -- before he was born. he and his (adopted) sister, PJ, are the greatest pets I've ever had and I've had lots of pets.

How the hell are all these 18, 19-22 year old kids getting S2Ks? When I was that age (only a few years ago), I couldn't afford a $30k car. I guess either their parents are paying for it, or they are living at home or they're selling drugs. Otherwise, there is no way a 19 yr old can afford that car.

Just turned 39 and remember its not how old you are but how many torn ligaments, pinched a nerves, or various other other maladies that you may have accumulated.

Or in the eloquent terms of Sgt. Greasemanelly "It's how much noise you make getting up in the morning!".

I'm 19 and in college. Most of my college tuition is covered under scholarship. My parents pay the rest. I work part time for my parents during vacations and sometimes on weekends. They are happy with what I'm doing so they don't mind paying for the car. Actually, they wouldn't let me pay for the car (which I could) if I begged them. In my experience, a lot of Asian families work this way.
