Racist white people give white people like me a bad name!

I have like 3 white friends... not counting family. (Though my family is pretty small)

All the rest are either Filipino, Mexican, Black, or Asian. Growing up in Cali and going to a public school is good for ya, teaches ya to get along with all sorts of different cultures. White people were a minority at my highschool, so I know what it feels like to be a victim of racism... I just shrug it off.

If I was with you, and I was sure of what he said, I would have definately said something to him. Not sure what it would be, but it would be start with 'Excuse me?'

 

my high school was about 99 % white...
and urgh!, all those stupid comments and little "sayings" that those kids and their parents
made during school events and sports games... still make me wanna puke.

i remember one time i showed this pic of "erebuni" body kited z3 to this girl and her mom,
and they both said, "ack! only blacks do that to their cars!"

... yes, i really wanted to say something... probably start it with "excuse you?" but,
i tend to just get speechless, making this kinda face whenever i hear stupid stuff like that.

 

then there was this one time,
when i went to somewhere in tennessee/ virginia area as a community service church trip,
the neighbor of the house that i was working on, was a part of of this group, something like "a gathering of racially superior american citizens."
now, THAT WAS SCARY.

 

I watched this tv program a few weeks ago where white racist people are making their own websites. I was shocked to see it was showing white kids as young as 9 yrs old going on racist forums and actually making slurs. Can you believe that! 9 yrs old and he's already racist!!!!

 

I worked in the Civil Rights Movement in the 60's in both Wash., DC and in Alabama. I can tell you from sad personal experience that one does not have to be white to be a racist. It seems to be an ability anyone from any ethnic/racial group can acquire.

 

oooOOOooh boy you have a lot to learn... if a child is born into a racist family... he has a very high percent of being a racist just like his/her parents. I remember back in 1st grade when I was in the boy scouts and we went on a trip to the forest for camping. Three white boys of the same age confronted me when I was walking down a path with damn sticks. I was so afraid, but thank god I didn't walk to far away from the camp because my troop and family was right behind me. Before they got there the damn boys were like "Are you ready to die *n word... sorry I hate it*" and argh... so sad... so sad...
