Default Hurricane Pics- where?

Anybody know a website with a webcam or videos of what's going on on the east coast? I don't want to read- I want to SEE.
thanks

A fellow S owner has a webcam (with his S in view!) in northern VA. The brunt of Isabel won't hit our area until later today and tonight....

Thanks. Anyone else? Maybe a beach shot? Big waves, piers collapsing? I wanna see the tidal surge- not hoping you have one, but if you do, I want to see it.

First most people who might were close to where the hurricane came ashore this morning should be long gone (if they are smart). Even those that stayed are likely to lose their power, telephone and/or their internet connections. For that matter, even if a outdoor webcam could survive the 100mph+ winds and rains, you would not likely be able to SEE anything. Your best bet is to watch the major networks on TV as they have people on the shores and they have weather-proof satellite transmitters and stuff.

You can get a blow-by-blow from some mid-Atlantic S owners from the VA tidewater area all the way up to us here in the DC/Baltimore metro areas at: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...14&pagenumber=6

The Carolina Owners also have their own thread going, but since they are taking the brunt of the storm RIGHT NOW, not many are posting obviously.

I am about 100 miles inland and am at home using my laptop because the power keeps going in and out. The cable tv is out also but fortunately DSL is still working for now. The worst of the storm is scheduled to be here in about 2 hours. So far winds from 40-50 mph and rain in bands that last between 15-45 minutes each. I have noticed about half a dozen of the bands of wind in the past 3 hours. Winds at the coast have already been 75+mph. I will be going to work in a few hours (about the time the worst part hits) and will likely be out in it most of the night just like I was during Fran and Floyd.
