this is one of the final things we are doing for our 8th grade english class is writing an "I am" poem. we have to follow a format (first two words are written for you, you complete the sentence) and i thought i'd like to share it with you S2000 guys. if i have any grammatical or spelling errors, or even suggestions, you can post it here! here is my first try at it:

I am an American-Born-Asian kid who plays the cello and desperately wants a Honda S2000.
I wonder if I will be lucky enough to live another day, or if I will die like the 600,000 soldiers that fought bravely in the Civil War.
I hear the S2000

 

I am everything to everyone that ever mattered
I hear music that can transcend time
I see that the good in people is always better then the bad
I want to buy the world a coke
I am everything to everyone that ever mattered

I pretend that what I am, is much more then I'll ever be
I feel love and lust, hate and kindness, and everything that makes me human
I touch a women's body and realize that nothing is more powerful
I worry about my family, without them I am less then whole
I cry at the sappiest movies, and tell no one
I am everything to everyone that ever mattered

I understand that the one with the most toys wins
I say I need more toys
I dream of a life where I have no worries
I try to fufill my dream
I hope that everyone gets what's coming to them
I am everything to everyone that ever mattered

 

Crap, I'm such a dumbass, I thought we were all supposed to write a poem
