Drinking age is 19 in Canada. Driving is 16, but in most places now we have graduated licencing. So you're pretty much 17 before you are out and about by yourself.

Minors are considered under 18. You can serve alcohol at 18 but not drink it ( legeally )

So if you drink at 18 or under and get caught you name gets withheld and protected? What does this mean? Sounds to me like they take away your name and make it difficult for you to get your name back.
