I "borrowed" an S2000
Ok, let's hope I don't get flamed. I was driving by a dealership. I saw that the S2000 they had the top down. Ok, it's like 10:30 at night. So I drive in, take a look around and see that the keys are in the cup holder.
So, I park my car in the back and run to the front and get the S2000. I drive it to the back and shortly I take it for a test drive. Nothing serious, just having my second experience in the car. The clutch and tranny were so smooth.
Watching countless videos on this car, and basically knowing what everything does, I took this out on some country roads. I think the only speeding I did was 5-100. Once. Everything else was the 40-60 mph see what Rpm it was in 3rd,4th,5th, and 6th gear. Just seeing if this is a convertible I would want in the future. I quickly realized that the throws were very short, braking EXTREMELY good, but this being the first time driving a RWD car, I took it easy. I basically wanted to know if I wanted to get 0-30 from a stop turning would the back end kick around. It chirped. BTW this was a silver year 2000.
Anyways, I drove it a half hour around the country roads and stopped to have a look around under a parking lot street light. Very very nice car. I took it back and parked it in the same spot, left it the way it was except put the top back on, left the keys in the same spot and ran with my head down to the back where my car was. They had 3 cameras at this dealership. Hopefully they didn't get my plate number and won't catch me! What is the worst that could happen to me?
By the way, I didn't intend to trash the car, because this is my dream car ever since the year 2000 when it came out. I didn't go "cruisin" for chicks, or drive to my friends to go show off. This was just personal time with the S2000 and I without the hassle.

i hope this isn't serious.
when you take a car without someone's explicit permission, it's called stealing. if i leave my keys by the door and you take them and my car, it's called stealing, please don't be so dumb in the future.

If there was security camera's, you'll be caught, they'll know, although I'm still calling
on the whole story, doesn't make any sense that you happened to stroll into a dealership at 10:30 PM (okay, maybe the rare few do it, BUT very few go in pitch dark knowing it's closed, even to look at the cars), and the icing on the cake is "keys are in the cup holder", how convenient..

I drive by the dealership on my way home every night. They have had the used S2000 out for about 2 months now. One night I didn't see it there, went to Taco Bell and came back the other way to get gas, driving by it again, and the car was back. What I don't understand was they left the plate on it, keys in cupholder and windows and top down at night.
