From what I've read, the Puma Speed Cats have pretty thin soles in order to maximize pedal feel while driving. That being said, super thin soles, with little to no arch support, are not going to be comfortable to walk around in all day or do other activities. That's why Pilotis were a nice alternative, they had some arch support and a slightly thicker sole so that they could be worn for a while.
