thats no where near what happened to the football player. that was just a racist cop being a fckn prick. if that was me i woulda told the cop to go **** them selves and walk into the hospital. go ahead and tow my ****n car. i give props to that football player to staying relatively calm.
What? Your previous post said that cops hear millions of BS excuses, but then suddenly the instance w/ the football player was racism, as opposed to just another instance of a cop not believing the person that was trying to get out of a ticket? I'm not saying that it wasn't racism because I have no way of knowing what was going on in the cops head, but it seems that everytime a white guy does something that negatively affects a black guy, it's racism. That's BS.

Because it's not really a valid excuse. You said the store is only 4 miles from your house, so your speeding if you had not gotten caught would have only shaved off less than one minute each way off of the trip. As it was, you ended up taking longer because of your speeding. Maybe you ought to buy a radar detector.

You were being melodramatic anyway. Your horse didn't die, even though you took a lot longer to get there because you got pulled over.

It follows that if you had driven 64mph instead of 73mph, the horse would also have been fine.

If horses died that easily from eating too much grass, they'd be extinct as a species.

I'm going to drive around and blow through stoplights. When I get pulled over, I'm going to say, "My cat is depressed and I'm just trying to get home to be with her."

Seriously, dude. That's not a legitimate excuse. You were still breaking the law and I think the cop was correct. If I were the cop, I'd be more likely to give you a ticket because you thought it was a legitimate excuse.

If you think about it, he did right by you. You came here thinking that it was BS and we all agreed with the cop. Next time, you'll do the right thing and keep it under control.

If you had said, "Sorry, officer. I was just a little excited," maybe he would have let you off. But freaking out and saying "MY HORSE IS DYING FROM CONSTIPATION!!!!!" may have backfired.

did you see the dash cam of the police officer for the football player? first of all they were rushing to the hospital. hmmm im pretty sure any genius could asssume that its an emergency and rather than be a dick, try to find out what was happening. And its not racism? how about when employees of the hospital and a nurse came out and explained to the officer that his mother-in law was dying and he still didn't let the guy go inside.

i know many cops and i can understand holding anyone for a little while, but after a nurse and employees of a hospital come out and tell you that the person your holding's family member is dying, you let him go.

What makes you assume I was talking about the horse in the story and not the thread in general?

dont say anything if you have no idea what your talking about. everytime a horse eats grass they dont calic. she ate grass and didnt drink enoughf, could have eaten grass with dew on it and her mouth wasent dry but the grass could have been dry still and she didnt realize she had to drink. her intestine was cloged. it happens to horses alot of times they do die. they will get down and wont get back up. and id didnt tell him "freaking out" that my horse was dying from constapation. so if you dont know what your talking about please dont post.

and on another note im not pissed about teh ticket. i was after i got it but i understand why he gave it to me. i was still speeding. i take responsibility. i was jsut in a hurry. i told the officer sorry. and i realize he probrally thought i was lying through my teeth. but i thought he would have tried to help me out a little. i just put myself in his shoes and thought about waht i would do.
