I hate baseball
Baseball, football, basketball any sport where it's a mostly a bunch of guys watching mostly minority sausages play little boys games is gay to another level.
Example, some guy pats you on the ass in a bar and a normal reaction is the guy gets his jaw broken with one punch. But a player in front of thousands of spectators pats another male on the ass and everybody is okay with it, WTF? As a hetro male why would you ever want to pat another male on the ass to celebrate anything?
Any sport where you don't stand a high risk of dying is for little kids and boring. My sons wanted to play little league and they were so bored after a few innings they begged me to let them quit so they could go back to karting instead. I made them finish the season. I took them to see the Angels play a few games this year, from what I saw it's mostly a eating and talking to friends event more than watching some guy catch a ball throw it and then wait till the ball comes near him again kind of thing. Plus a lot of fat guys playing which surprised me, figured they were being paid to play and should be carrying less fat around.
Now can someone tell me why if these guys are being payed to play this game why it matters that the "crowd cheer them on"? This ain't high school it's their job to play well without having a cheering section to spur them on. Do you guys who work have a cheering section so you can do your job? No you have a paycheck which is your motivation. If someone is doing a activity at a high level they should be so focused in that activity that they should have tunnel vision and outside influence should not matter.
Now watching women's beach volleyball or women's gymnastics on a high def TV is something I could watch
But watching other sausages?

I haven’t read all the posts, but to me, the only true sport left is professional wrestling.
Not.
Truly? Moto GP.
Pack 250 hp onto two wheels with one contact patch the size of your palm. Where a momentary lapse of concentration throughout the duration of the race could mean your life, now that's a sport. Where the complete use of nearly every muscle in your body is not only being used, but stressed to its limit, and complete concentration cannot take a break.
It's raining!!! Baseball players head to the dugout. They don't play. Guess what? Moto GP riders put 'rain tires' on, head out to the track and proceed to drag their knees through the corners, in the rain!
Baseball: Use of steroids is the norm. People look the other way. Players with heads the size of duffle bags.
You can have your baseball and football. I'd rather watch paint dry.
I'll take Moto GP.

go Cubs.....I know maybe next year....but seriously, I have never met one person who has not had fun at Wrigley on a nice day, I have been there maybe 20 times in my life and every time I have a blast. Granted I may not have liked the outcome of the game.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and have their own reasons for how they feel. I find that people who have grown up playing baseball seem to have a much higher appreciation for the sport than those who have not. It has its dull moments like any other sport. To deem one sport more difficult than another is bogus. Certain individuals are just better at certain things, period.

All I'm saying is look at the percentage of fat people who play Baseball and Golf compared to other sports. (Football excluded because they can actually run and don't need pinch runners).
It takes skill to read a pitch and to throw certain pitches. That's it. There are at most 2 people doing anything on a baseball field at any given time. Batter/Pitcher, Batter/Outfielder, etc. Everyone else is a spectator.
I prefer to watch games in person than on TV.
