I get where you're coming from, but when someone makes a blatantly opinionated statement it doesn't always need to be followed by '...in my opinion.' Stating that something is boring is universally a matter of opinion, so getting offended that no one stated it explicitly is a bit silly. In my opinion.

 

I am willing to make a blanket statement right now:

Companies who automatically place pickles on my hamburgers are gay.

Besides that, can anyone compare the t.v. ratings of House vs. the ALCS (Yankees vs Angels) game ?

I get where you're coming from too. I'm not offended, I wasn't trying to insult anyone personally. It's been my experience that someone who comes out and says "Baseball is boring" just usually isn't a fan, or doesn't understand the game. Therefore in their head, it's boring and they cannot understand how someone else could enjoy it.

Which is strange, because lots of people aren't fans of other sports or activities, but they don't elicit the same passionate "________ is boring!" that non-baseball fans always fall back on.

I know it's an opinion, but it's always stated as fact... which is why it sounds idiotic to me.
