Default I hate Police and EMS officers!

I ing hate when them idiots get out with their boots or w/e they have you put money in and stand in the middle of the god damn road. Its soo wreckless! I work right by Metro Airport, and at one of the busiesst intersetions, right before I94 these assholes are standing outside trying to collect money in the middle of the road! All thats happening is traffic is getting backed up and people are getting frustrated. To top it off there is a light rain so the roads are slippery as hell right out here. These guys are seriously creating more of a problem then helping with there ing charity.

Sorry but i hate it this time of year when they are out there causing hazards on the streets there ing police and ems officers they should know better.... I wouldn't expect this of a crackhead

I agree completely.

There is a firehouse around the block from where I live. At the busiest intersection for miles, and during the busiest times of the day, they like to stand in the middle of traffic to collect pocket change.

I'm not discounting their intent (as I'm sure they have several good ones), but it's annoying and more importantly making an already dangerous intersection more dangerous (for themselves and unexpecting motorists).

On well...

This message is to the two previous assholes who posted on S2KI... The next time you're getting robbed or your car gets stolen DON'T CALL THE POLICE! And when your house is burning down, DON'T CALL THE FIRE DEPARTMENT! Have a nice life.

When they can't get enough funding from the city, then they have to turn to the public. They have a dangerous job and in my opinion deserve our respect. You might not agree with there method , but they do it the best way they can. Next time you dial 911, think about that officer collecting donations on the street corner.

I agree with your reasoning, but the only problem is that the money from "fill the boot" goes to Jerry's Kids (MDA) and not the emergency services. I have nothing against helping sick children but just beware that the money is not for your safety. I think the methods are a bit misleading.

The police don't do $hit here in my area and IMO are not worthy of extra funds NO need to slander other members
