Having sold Fords in a past life, I concur on your decision. A sales job at Honda will be tough, but at least you can believe in the product you are selling.

I hope for your sake the sales manager isn't one of the complete A-holes I read about time and time again... A stereotype supported by some of the ones I've met.

As an example, just YESTERDAY I was in a Porsche/Audi dealership talking with Salesman A, and the Sales Manager started berating Salesman B, right in front of me. If he treats his employees so poorly, why would I assume he would treat me any better??

As familiar as you no doubt are by now with the S2000 you now have the perfect opportunity to make a killing in the sales arena. You must have passion for the car or you wouldn't be on this board and you must know how to drive the car. So... you will have a big-one-up on most other salesman out there. Your test drives and your positive enthusiasm and knowledge of the car will close the deal and you'll probably end up being the top salesman ..the 'big kahuna'. Next thing you know you're running the dealership. I reckon you've got it in the bag

7 S2000??? I think you can wait out that price.

Can you say REBATE. The 2002 will be here soon. "Gotta move out those ol' 2001's to make room for the new 2002 shipments"...I can hear it now
