Smile I hate stupid drivers!

My wife and I drove her new EVO to the Sears this morning to pick-up a few sockets. When we got home we decided to park outside our garage (we live in a townhouse) so that we could unload the car and then my wife was going to head to the bank. Well, the next store neighbor is backing out of her garage, obviously isn't paying ANY attention, and she hits the rear quarter panel/bumper of the EVO! Great. Just our luck. We had appointments next Wednesday to get an alarm installed and next Saturday to have the car tuned; those two efforts are now on hold until the car is repaired.

Sorry...just had to vent!

i guess there is a reason to hold off but just go forward with your plans and work the collision repair into the scheme of things when you can. get the alarm done before more bad.

the good is the at fault driver was insured.

What really sucks is that the rear fender piece extends all the way to the front of the car (up and over the two doors), and instead of replacing this whole piece the insurance company will probably only authorize a pull and bondo type of job. A brand new car is going to end up with a f****** rear fender area!

I'd say burn her house down, but you live in a townhouse, so no dice... i kid i kid. If it isn't that bad, go get the alarm put in and tune it first.

I hear what you are saying, but my wife and I are not down with the idea of driving around in a smashed up car.

If it is a new car a lawyer can force their insurance co to replace the part rather than bondo it.
