I hate when I can hear people breathing next to me in a meeting!

I prefer that to the ones who like to eat with their mouth open, or the ones with halitosis.

Loud breathers generally don't annoy me--unless I can hear them in a movie or something.

My pet peeve is someone who is wearing too much cologne or perfume. I sat next to a girl in college who had insanely long hair and she used Pert. I know this because I could smell it every time she moved. Ugh! Keep your smells to yourself, please!

Aroused by heavy breathing.

My biggest pet peeve is noisy eaters. My entire family eats like savages. It drives me insane.

Julie - I agree with the too much cologne thing. My eyes would water if I got stuck in a car / elevator with a pile of cologne on! Maybe they are masking their lack of showering?

I don't mind if someone has a "splash" of cologne on....it does smell good..... I definately don't like it when they 1/2 a bottle on!!! Why the hell would someone want the entire world to smell them?

It is usually foreign looking (indian, arab looking) men that I see/smell with way too much on. There are little Kiosk's in the mall run by the same foreign looking men......

I prefer to just take a shower and put deoderent on than to douse myself in cologne.

heavy breathing, or loud audible breathing is one of my pet peeves right behind bad breath.

i've just discovered that my coworker has really bad seasonal allergies, and we were stuck in a meeting right next to each other. the sound of his breath intermingled with the stench of empty stomach made life unbearable. i offered him some altoids, but he resisted.. what to do? i'm new here and dont want to offend anybody!

oh and about perfume.. if i'm not kissing your neck and i can smell it, youre wearing too much.

if youre a male, you really shouldnt be wearing more than the "squirt-in-air, then walk into it" step.

i personally think that the scent of a good shampoo or soap is more arousing than most perfumes.. but there are a few perfumes out there that drive that can rival viagra!
