Hey folks,
I've started this thread to see what the reaction of others is. Wait a minute...isn't that what all threads are about?


Anywho, I'd just like to say that I have a great girlfriend. Whenever she calls me, (we don't live together) she always asks what I'm doing. More often than not, if I'm not working, then I'm either out tinkering in the garage, or sitting here replying to threads on the site. While she takes little interest in my car or anything related, she never fails to ask "anything new and exciting on the forums today?" I usually tell her, and often, I get some kind of educated response. It feels great to have a significant other that takes as much interest as my girlfriend does in the things that I enjoy most.

Can anyone else relate?

I was originally looking into getting a subaru legacy, because I figured I should look for a nice family car that would get us into the mountains for skiing. I'm in Great Falls, a town about 90 miles away, looking at cars when I see a Mustang Cobra. Now I've always wanted one but never had the means to purchase one. I bring back my wife a week later and she is all "we can't afford that, that is to impractical right now." Then the salesman starts up the car WHOOM! My wifes eyes got real big and she couldn't help but smile. We tell the salesman we need to talk about it and walk out of the dealership. Five days later my wife comes to me and says"Lets go get that Cobra I haven't been able to think of anything else since." Anyways, the next saturday I'm teaching my wife to powerbrake and launch at her request. Trouble is, everyday she has off she gets the car and I'm stuck with the Intrepid

 

my gf loves the board! She's so funny...she has a direct link to OT on her desktop Comes to track days and autocrosses and loves to go for drives w/ me. Our first date I took her for a ride in some twisties and I don't think she's ever stopped wanting that. She was in the car when I spun out at thunderhill once, she said that was the most exciting lap she rode on (besides mine )

She's the absolute best
