Default "I have nothing to prove in CART" says Schumi

http://www.f1i.com/articles/ARTICLE_261378.html

Four-time Formula 1 World Champion Michael Schumacher has declared that in he will never race in the American-based CART championship. The Ferrari driver explained that he feels he has nothing to left to prove in motor racing because Formula is the pinnacle of the sport.

"I have never really looked into it and thought about it because I simply don't see a point in it," the German said when asked about the American racing series. "There's two reasons; First of all, I feel it is too dangerous from my point of view.

"The second point is I feel Formula One is the highest challenge you can have in motor racing. So obviously, I'm doing well here and I don't see a point to prove anything in an Indy race, IndyCar or ChampCar or whatever."

The only problem with F1 at times is that the races can become a procession and therefore become a bit boring.
Nobody can deny their skills though.

Post qualifying when asked why he didn't take his last lap he answered that the car, the setup and himself were perfect and thus could not be improved upon.

He could be right

GO AYRTON SENNA! Too bad he didn't live. Now that would have been interesting to see him and Schumacher go at it. I agree with Michael though. Formula 1 IS the pinnacle of motor sports. The rest of the world knows it.
