Default I just smoked my last cigarette.

I have been smoking since I was 12. The past 5 years I have smoked heavily.

It makes me feel tired and depressed after a cigarette. On top of that, I am destroying my body. Im done with it.

I need to learn to deal with stress mentally rather than physically turning to a cigarette.

Wish me luck!

Good luck. I hope it works. I have a feeling with your current situation with your girlfirend your chances of failure are high. I think nicotine supplementation may help you.

My wife quit cold turkey for me last year (before she became my wife). She still has cravings but has done remarkably well with it. I think she's only smoked two cigs since quitting, and the urge can still come on strong, but she realizes it's for her future health and our future kids. She smoked for I think 12 years, though not heavily...maybe seven a day...?

I wish you good luck, and just try to recognize when you crave one. I'm honestly just communicating what my wife went through. I've never smoked, but my dad used to moderately when I was young.

I can understand the desire to quit, tho. during major breakdowns in ones life, sometimes it seems like the best change. but sometimes its not the best time....
