Hookin' in Hungary -- now part of legal economy

Prostitutes in Hungary can now apply for an entrepreneur's permit that will bring sex workers into the legal economy by allowing them to give receipts to customers, contribute to social security and pay taxes, Hungarian officials said today.

Hungary's sex industry, which includes prostitution and pornography production, generates an estimated $1 billion annually, said Agnes Bakonyi, the spokeswoman for Hungary's tax authority APEH.

 

I woudn't go there. not for hookers.

Amsterdam is where you want to go. I've never partaken when I was there, but some of those girls were HOT. Reasonably priced, too.

 

I really do not care if anyone wants to legalize prostitution in privacy. I don't see how it hurts anyone but the two people involved, and frankly, I don't think it differs much from a stripper-customer relationship except taking it a step further.

It just becomes something that is more regulatable!

 

Not to mention more taxable.
