hey Mingster, my cousin just had his first baby 2 weeks ago, and here's a few things he said in an email to me that I'm sure you can relate to:

"So what do I have to say about fatherhood? It freaking kicks ass, man! I never knew how much fun staring at a sleeping baby could be. It supposedly only gets better, once she starts responding a bit more."

... "Thanks a lot, man. I also think Mira (his new baby daughter) is completely beautiful, but of course I'm biased! The labor wasn't that bad, actually. It's easy for me to say, but even Arvind (his wife) will tell you the same. Thank God for epidurals - Arvind was ready to be the epidural company's spokesperson afterwards. It's taken her a little while to recover after it wore off, but now she's almost back to 100%, which is a relief. And if I haven't made it clear yet, fatherhood has been AWESOME. There is an undeniably biological or primal urge to protect, love, and care for this little baby. It really is an amazing feeling, I know you'd dig it the most!"
