I like it when there's actually some purpose to the Rube-Goldberg contraption...

If the alarm clock was wired up to flipping eggs into a skillet so that your breakfast would be ready as you woke up and went downstairs... THAT would be cool...

Props for the effort of those guys, though.

With all the camera cuts, it makes me wonder if they spliced together "sections" that worked.the most noticable was the dartboard. When they were running to it, it didnt look like it was moving at all, but then the camera cuts and it was turning.

Can you imagine the parents/wife coming home to that? "WTF IS THIS??"

Here's another vid from a Japanese variety show. These have no point or purpose except to show a "sign" with the name of the show (I think?)
