I must be getting fat
My chair leans to one side because a rivet is missing. I put some epoxy on the joint last night before leaving my office and let it sit overnight. The stuff says it can hold 5000 (five thousand) pounds of pressure. My chair just broke. hahaha
(BTW, I only weigh 175... at least that is what I thought. haha)
I guess I need to find some JB weld or something.

I love this chair though. It is hand carved solid wood. An older client gave me this chair as he was retiring and closing his office. He said he bought in 1966... it has lots of "charcter"... Can you imagine sitting in the same chair for forty years.

Doesn't that gross you out that he farted in your chair for 40 years?

also, even though the chair may hold 175lbs, the pressure on the joint maybe much higher than 175lbs.
