I need help with my workout
I am a PFC in the Army, I scored a 251 on my APFT with 61 push ups in two minutes, 63 sit ups in two minutes and a 13.50 2 mile run. Now that I am home because I am a reservest we don't have PT every day. I was wondering if someone could map out a workout that would either maintain my current condition or better it. My trouble spot mostly was my sit ups, I'd like to keep it to 3 days a week considering how busy I am with school but also not as boring as just doing a zillion pushups and sit ups. There must be some military personel on the forums that can help... calling all Rangers

go to your local gym tell them your goals and have then create a workout for you...or better yet tighten up and make your own its not that hard....if you want to keep your endurance keep running...if you want to improve your sit ups strengthen your core muscles...its not rocketscience...even idiots know how to get/keep in shape!

As for "its not rocketscience...even idiots know how to get/keep in shape!"...
Excercise is good, anyone knows that, but not everyone knows the best way to approach working out. You have to arm yourself with knowledge, based on your specific goals if you want to be most effective.

I disagree with this. You local gym workers/owners don't neccessarily know what they are talking about with regards to fitness. I'd be weary of 80% of fitness instructors, too. Too easy to become one and spew worthless information. It kills me how many trainers I see that are in bad shape. I wouldn't seek a financial advisor who can't pay his rent or a dentist with no teeth.
