why don't you go to a gay club covered in honey and glitter? From what you describe a flaming gay dude fits the bill. They fit almost all your "strict" criteria
1) They go clubbin'
2) They'll buy you stuff
3) They like seaworld (Free Willy!)
4) They dress nice
5) they don't have girl friends but they deal with feminine most straight peeps do.
They can also help you with your english and perhaps convince you that "straight" friends don't like sea world.

i understand some of what your dealing with. My best friend through my whole life has some similarities. hes 30, lives with his parents, hasn't had a legitimate job in over 2 years. has a car and crotch rocket hes paid off. and basically just coasts through life without giving a ****..pretty much a grown up kid. He pinches pennies EVERY way he can, often even ordering off the kids menu at restaurants. He really is the cheapest bastard I know, but he's fun to be around most of the time..but can get REALLY annoying. Hes happy so good for him, but I know I couldn't look at myself in the mirror.
Lets just say I am growing up, married, my own place, my own bills, and I can't be partying every night of the week. We just don't really relate anymore, so I only talk and see him on occasion.
I agree with 8D, it sounds to me like your growing up, and your buddies aren't and they have little characteristics that annoy the shit out of you.
but when you say they aren't going anywhere but are your co-workers, does that mean you aren't either?

Sounds like you're just shallow.
If someone has to blow a lot of money to be your friend, then you need to surround yourself with other shallow people instead of the normal people that you call friends now.

I understand where you are coming from... some people are just cheap. It makes one feel good about themselves to do something nice once in a while instead of the same ole same ole routine. Everyone should try it. kinda like going to a store by yourself and buying yourself a very nice shirt or something. Kinda builds self esteem.
