Ok... I found them... They are the Ray Ban Predator RB3190...

http://www.ray-ban.com/Usa/HomePageUsa.html

(Couldn't link the exact site for those sunglasses... but it's easy to find from the home page if you want)

Persol makes good stuff. Both polarized and regular, can't go wrong with Steve McQueen's and Jack Nicolson's shades of choice.

if you want quality glasses that have actual research and development put into them, then get maui jim, revo or serengeti.

all the others are just fashion accessories.

hence the difference in price.

if you are one of those people who constantly loses their glasses, then don't buy them.

Ray Ban
OFFICIAL sponser Honda Racing F1 Team

USA ray ban site, Honda F1 is listed... Yes in America, the F1 corperate logo is on home page.
In closing buy Ray Ban.. they will make you drive faster...
and seriously,
ANY sunglasses with GLASS (Ray Ban, Maui Jim, Revo, etc) lens.. cant scratch, better clairity
Polyicarbonate lens might be lighter, but plastic will never offer clairty like glass

x5 on the maui jim's. I've had a pair for 3-4 years and won't go back to anything else.

Any recommended sites to buy Maui Jim or Revo at a good price?

I'd buy Maui Jim's if I liked the styling or how it looked on me. Thus I only wear Revo. And I only buy polarized, glass lenses, metal frame.

I'm a big fan of Ray Bans (not Aviator). But since you said you don't like em, my second choice is Revo's. Vuarnet's are good too.
