Default I need pple's opinions on cars

My dad's going to get me a new car and he gave me a $30, 000 price limit.

I was wondering what you guys thought would be some good considerations?

finally, you ask the question what I am good at....but maybe you should post this in "Car Talk"

for $30K, I will said the Mercedes C-230K Sport Coupe, and BMW 325i. those maybe a little over $30k for out door price but won't be too much over.

and since you are a girl, if you don't mind space and carry people, a Mazda Miata will fit you too.

also there are Toyota Matrix, Toyota MR2 Spyder, Mazda MP3, and don't forget the BMW Mini Cooper

Naaaa, 30K?! That's almost the exact price of the S2000. All your other rich friends are gonna have 325's & Benz's. These cars are now a dime a dozen (availability wise, NOT price obviously), everybody's rich dads buys their kids these cars. Nope, when you are cruzin' for "looks" the guys in your social class will be VERY impressed with an S2000 (Actual quote: "Like, Dude, check-out what the cute chic is DRIVIN' man?!"). You have instant "uniqueness". Plus, you can impress (and perhaps, kill) yourself in this car. You'll learn to drive a high performance car early in your life, you get used to having ONLY the best. This will "raise the bar" for potential mates in, oh - say, 5 years. Yup, the S2000 is the car for you!

Assuming it's $30k in Canuck funny money, we're pretty limited. Perhaps a matchbox car or two?

Seriously, what kind of car to you want? Sporty, practical, AWD/4WD, wagon, truck, etc???

Just found out that $30000 Canadian dollar is only around $18800 US.

If this is the case then here is the brochure for Ford SVT Focus. Base price is $17,995

yeah, what exactly is the car going to be used for? it should be based on that, especially if you plan on shelling out that much money (whatever currency it is).
